Experteer Overview As a Software Backend Engineer in Fever’s Data Department, you will build scalable services and infrastructure powering critical systems for users and partners. You’ll work at the intersection of software, AI, and business automation to turn data insights into reliable, scalable platforms. You’ll shape architecture and drive robust, testable code that underpins Fever’s data-driven product surface. - Architect and build scalable microservices in Python (FastAPI/Django) with a focus on breaking monoliths or launching new services
- Develop robust, event-driven data flows using Kafka ensuring durability, order, idempotency, and eventual consistency
- Design fault-tolerant integrations with external ecosystems (Meta Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce) including rate limits, retries, and circuit breakers
- Optimize OLTP/OLAP interactions, particularly PostgreSQL, and design ingestion pipelines for Snowflake and Elasticsearch using Airflow and dbt
- Collaborate with Data Science, ML, and Data Engineering to integrate data sources and model infrastructure
- Lead code reviews, write RFCs for major decisions, and mentor mid-level engineers; promote testing strategies and clean architectureResponsabilidades
- Strong Python proficiency with understanding of GIL, asyncio, generators, decorators, and typing
- Experience with Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS, and Transactional Outbox patterns
- Solid SQL skills, PostgreSQL performance tuning, and experience with Redis/Elasticsearch
- Clear English communication across technical and non-technical audiences
