SEK Education Group is seeking to immediately incorporate a Senior Developer to join its IT Department at the Villafranca campus. This position is part of the institution's digital transformation strategy and aims to strengthen internal application development and technical support. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and maintaining technological solutions that enhance the institution’s efficiency and innovation capacity. Mission Provide high-quality technical support to the institution through the development of new applications and the efficient resolution of technical incidents, actively contributing to the university’s digital transformation. Main Responsibilities Develop new applications and functionalities according to internal requirements. Diagnose and resolve technical incidents efficiently, ensuring proper documentation. Collaborate with other teams in defining, testing, and implementing technological solutions. Ensure code quality, maintain best programming practices, and promote continuous improvement. Requirements: Academic Background Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Higher Vocational Training in Multiplatform Application Development (or equivalent). Professional Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing applications with .NET and SQL Server . Experience in corporate or educational environments will be valued. Languages English level B2 or higher. Technical Skills .NET Framework 4.8 with C# SQL Server DEVExpress components Internet Information Services (IIS) Azure DevOps (desirable) Visual Studio Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Teamwork and collaboration across departments. Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to code quality and best practices. Proactivity and initiative to propose improvements and optimize internal processes. Adaptability to changing environments and continuous learning of new technologies. Clear communication skills for documentation and knowledge sharing. Familiarity with generative AI tools to assist and accelerate code writing (e.G., GitHub Copilot or similar). Additional Information Experience in educational or institutional settings will be positively valued. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and task management in Azure DevOps is desirable.
