Experteer Overview
As a Senior Security Compliance Engineer, you design and scale privacy-aware systems for a global tech organization. You bridge security, legal, and product to embed privacy by design into products and operations. You translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions and automate privacy and compliance workflows. You will work with cross-functional teams to reduce privacy risk while enabling business growth and a strong player experience.

• Embed privacy by design into product, platform, and operational workflows
• Design, build, and improve privacy engineering capabilities for data subject rights, lifecycle management, and compliance
• Translate legal/regulatory requirements into technical requirements and actionable guidance
• Develop tools and automations in Python to support privacy and compliance
• Support workflow orchestration using Temporal or similar platforms
• Operate privacy-related systems in AWS/cloud environments
• Write SQL for data archiving, purging, and data discovery for privacy needs
• Partner with engineers/archs to implement data solutions while protecting sensitive data
• Conduct privacy assessments, identify risks, and drive mitigation through tooling, training, and guidance
• Review systems/data flows for privacy impact and design technical controls to reduce risk
• Collaborate with product/engineering to design privacy-preserving data controls
• Lead project delivery from requirements to stakeholder communication
• Improve documentation, reporting, and processes to support compliance
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve data quality and consistency
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in information security, privacy, or related technical role
• Hands-on Python development
• Background in software engineering, backend systems, security, data engineering, or data architecture
• Experience with AWS and cloud architectures
• Experience with Temporal or similar workflow tools
• Knowledge of APIs, JSON, SQL, and related tooling
• Strong understanding of privacy engineering, privacy by design, and data subject rights/lifecycle controls
• Working knowledge of GDPR
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT
• Experience cross-functional with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, collaborative
• Experience leveraging/building AI-enabled tools to enhance GRC processes
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and learn new tech
• Experience with data systems/large datasets, data flows and retention patterns
