Hulahoop is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (Freelance) to help us design, build and scale the next generation of our digital platforms. About the Company Early‑stage startup at the intersection of finance, culture and technology — building robust, scalable and efficient SaaS products that make cultural investment more accessible, transparent and impactful. Responsibility Highlights You’ll work directly with the founding team, taking strong ownership over architecture, UI and product decisions. In the coming months, we expect to grow the tech team so this role will play a key part in setting the foundations and guiding future development. Develop modular, maintainable and scalable frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, Next.js and Tailwind. Ensure clean, reusable and well‑documented code. Collaborate closely with design, backend and product teams to bring polished, accessible, and performant interfaces to life. Act as a guardian of product design and UI consistency, ensuring a refined user experience across products. Build and maintain shared UI components, internal libraries and design systems. Contribute to technical decisions on architecture, tooling, CI / CD, performance and scalability. Help define frontend best practices and processes as the team grows. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development. Deep expertise in React, TypeScript and modern frontend architecture. Strong sense for UI / UX with attention to detail, usability and visual coherence. Solid knowledge of state management and performance optimization. Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, GitHub Actions and cloud environments (GCP preferred). Fluent in Spanish and English. Flexible and async‑first culture.
