For our Client we are looking for a tough, operational IT/OT expert who is ready to execute a global digital transformation by delivering hands-on mobile solutions to our factory floors. If your career has recently focused on strategy, overhead management, or Director-level titles, this is NOT the role for you. We need someone who lives for implementation and excels at pushing through operational resistance. The Role: Connected Worker Solutions Specialist You will be the key operational driver ensuring our shopfloor teams move to mobile-first tools and a more efficient way of working: Take full, hands-on ownership of the full lifecycle for Connected Worker platforms, including mobile device (tablet/smartphone) deployment and integration with existing plant infrastructure (Wi-Fi, printing systems). Implement the 'Work by Exception' model. Your focus must be on delivering smart notifications and guided workflows that genuinely transform operator routines, moving them away from static, paper-based processes. You must possess the technical depth and interpersonal skills to engage directly with engineers and operators, translating their needs into robust, digital use cases. You must speak their language. You must be prepared for major cultural pushback regarding system standardization. Your ability to drive standardization against resistance and view challenges as personal missions is paramount. What you’ll bring: Deep Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 5+ years of technical IT/OT experience with direct, operational exposure to a manufacturing/plant environment. Proven implementation knowledge of Connected Worker platforms (e.G., Tulip, Poka, Redzone, or similar mobile shopfloor tools). Strong Change Management capabilities and the energy required to persist and drive adoption despite significant internal friction and rejection.. Willingness to travel to production sites to oversee deployments.
