The role will manage international tax matters across the Group’s jurisdictions excluding Luxembourg and the United States, coordinating closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and external advisors across more than 20 jurisdictions in Europe and APAC. This position offers broad exposure across the Group and a unique opportunity to operate in a complex multinational environment with a high degree of autonomy, responsibility, and visibility.Key ResponsibilitiesInternational Tax OversightLead and coordinate tax matters across the Group’s international jurisdictions (excluding Luxembourg and the United States).Oversee local tax compliance obligations through local finance teams and external advisors.Monitor tax filing calendars, payments, deadlines and recurring obligations.Review local tax positions to ensure consistency with Group tax policies, governance standards and risk appetite.Coordinate tax input for new entity setups, closures, liquidations and structural changes.Maintain ongoing visibility over tax risks, exposures and planning opportunities.Cross Border Projects & Strategic InitiativesOwn and drive tax workstreams related to legal entity simplification projects, mergers, liquidations and internal reorganisations.Lead tax input on dividend repatriation strategies, withholding tax management and broader cash extraction initiatives.Assess tax implications of cross‑border financing flows and intercompany arrangements.Provide tax support on acquisitions, disposals and business expansion initiatives as required.Coordinate the implementation of global tax initiatives and legislative developments affecting the Group.Governance, Controls & ReportingSupport Pillar Two readiness, including data collection, impact assessments, implementation support and ongoing monitoring across relevant jurisdictions.Manage Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and DAC6/MDR reporting processes.Develop and maintain tax trackers, dashboards and management reporting to provide clear tax insights.Contribute actively to the design, maintenance and enhancement of the Group tax governance framework, policies and internal controls.Tax Audits & Controversy ManagementAct as the tax point of contact for local tax audits, authority queries and information requests.Manage relationships with external tax advisors during audits, disputes and controversy matters.Ensure audit readiness through robust documentation standards and effective file management.Identify, escalates and supports resolution of material tax risks and exposures.Digitalisation, Data & Emerging TechnologiesContribute to the evolution of the Group’s tax data and digitalisation strategy, including increased use of automation, data analytics and emerging AI‑enabled tools.Identify opportunities where technology can enhance efficiency, accuracy and insight across tax compliance, reporting and governance activities.Work collaboratively with Finance and other functions to leverage existing systems, tools and data sources to support tax objectives.Qualifications & Experience8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in Big Four international tax teams or in‑house multinational groups.Experience overseeing multiple jurisdictions and coordinating global tax projects across multiple jurisdictions.Strong knowledge of international corporate tax principles and cross‑border taxation.Proven experience managing multi‑jurisdictional tax matters through advisor networks.Exposure to reorganisations, group simplification, M&A, withholding tax, tax audits and governance frameworks.Familiarity with Pillar Two, DAC6, CbCR and global tax transparency initiatives.Strong analytical, project management and problem‑solving skills.Commercial mindset with the ability to balance technical accuracy and pragmatism.Fluent in English; other European languages advantageous.Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.Ability to operate autonomously and confidently in a fast‑paced international environment.What We OfferWe are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.
