AVATR, a premium intelligent electric vehicle brand, is seeking a Head of Retail to join our Europe Overseas Business Development team at our Madrid subsidiary. Together with the team, you will support AVATR’s expansion in the Spanish market across business development, sales, marketing, aftersales, and network operations.What you will do:- Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Formulate the overall sales strategy for the Spanish market and monthly sales targets, break them down by region and channel, and drive strategy implementation and goal achievement.- Sales Team Building & Management: Build and manage the local Spanish sales team; set KPIs and conduct ongoing performance reviews to develop a high-performing sales organization.- Key Account & Business Development: Lead the development and relationship management of fleet customers and key accounts; expand B2B sales to increase the company’s fleet sales share.- Sales Operations & Data Analysis: Establish a sales data operation system, generate regular sales analysis reports, and propose data-driven strategy optimization recommendations to improve conversion rates and sales funnel efficiency.- Collaboration with China HQ: Work closely with the sales and product teams at China headquarters, provide timely feedback on local market needs, and drive continuous optimization of product configurations and commercial policies.- Commercial Policy Management: Develop phased commercial policies aligned with the company’s budget, manage dealer relationships within budget constraints, and support the achievement of sales targets.What you will bring:- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.- 8+ years of sales experience in the automotive industry, including at least 3 years in a director-level leadership role in the Spanish market.- Experience in new energy passenger vehicle sales is preferred; experience with Chinesebrand go-global projects is a plus.- Familiar with the Spanish NEV market landscape, customer profiles, and mainstream dealer channels; possess sufficient key account resources to secure major customer orders.- Fluent in English and Spanish, able to use both as working languages.- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stress management skills; able to thrive in a start-up organization’s fast-paced environment.
