Impress Group is executing a finance transformation, including migrating its ERP platform from Odoo 14 to Odoo 18 across multiple global legal entities. We are seeking an experienced Odoo ERP Consultant to lead the technical implementation and migration workstreams. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring deep Odoo expertise combined with strong finance and accounting process knowledge. You will drive outcomes autonomously within a cross-functional program team (Finance, IT, Operations). Why we’re cool: Work with an international and multicultural team Competitive salary Teeth aligner and whitening benefits Collaborative work environment and positive culture Opportunities to grow within a fast-paced, innovative company and real start-up experience with big challenges Fresh fruits and healthy snacks at the office Key Responsibilities: ● ERP Implementation & Migration: Lead the end-to-end migration from Odoo 14 to Odoo 18, including environment setup, configuration, data migration, go-live execution, and hyper care support. ● Architecture & Configuration: Design and deploy Odoo 18 architecture for key modules: Accounting, Purchase, Sales, Invoicing, Inventory, and HR. Configure multi- entity, multi-currency, and tax setups aligned with local statutory and group accounting standards. ● Process Mapping: Configure end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R), establishing account structures, posting profiles, and approval workflows. ● Data & Quality: Lead master data cleansing, validation, and governance initiatives; define naming conventions and lifecycle policies. ● Testing & Go-Live: Develop and execute UAT plans, create comprehensive test scripts, and build detailed go-live runbooks. ● Integration: Collaborate with internal teams (n8n, DevOps) to define API requirements and manage data flows between Odoo and external systems (Pay hawk, Travel Perk, HubSpot). Required Qualifications ● Technical Expertise (Odoo & Development): ○ 8+ years of Odoo implementation/consulting experience, including 2+ major version migration projects. ○ Deep expertise in Odoo Accounting, Purchase, Sales, and Invoicing modules. ○ Strong proficiency in Odoo 18 architecture, ORM, and customization framework. ○ Experience with Python (server-side development), PostgreSQL, and large-scale multi-entity deployments. ● Finance & Business Knowledge: ○ Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), chart of accounts design, and financial reporting. ○ Experience configuring P2P, O2C, and R2R processes in ERP systems. ○ Familiarity with corporate card programs and AP/AR automation. ● Programming & Consulting Skills: ○ Proven track record of managing ERP migration projects with structured governance (RACI, risk registers). ○ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to finance leadership. Nice to Have ● Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation. ● Familiarity with Pay hawk, Travel Perk, or similar SaaS finance tools. ● Knowledge of multi-country regulatory requirements (EU, UK, US tax localization). ● Odoo OCA contributions or project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
