Overview
In this role you own a core area of Elastic XDR, guiding the end-to-end product from requirements to shipped features. You work closely with Engineering and Elastic Security Labs to align with the platform’s unified data model and deployment options (cloud, on-premises, air-gapped). You translate threat research into roadmaps and collaborate with security customers to shape the product. You’ll contribute to exposure and vulnerability capabilities and liaise with cross-functional teams to drive impact in a fast-moving space. This role offers the chance to influence security outcomes at scale within Elastic’s security-first platform.

ResponsabilidadesOwn a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building and response across endpoint, cloud, identity, and networkExpand and maintain telemetry and integrations from Elastic data and third-party sources to enable cross-environment correlationContribute to exposure and vulnerability management work, prioritizing by exploitability and remediation workflowTranslate customer input and threat research from Elastic Security Labs into product requirementsRepresent the product in customer conversations and bring learnings back to the roadmapEnsure capabilities work across deployment models (cloud, on-premises, air-gapped) and regulated/disconnected environmentsMaintain awareness of competitive landscape and GTM strategiesCreate artifacts (roadmap trackers, decision memos) for stakeholder visibility
Requisitos principales5+ years in security-related product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketingAt least 3 years in product development or a related technical fieldHands-on knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM, incident response, or forensic domainsExperience with telemetry/third-party data integrations and data ingestion breadthStrong understanding of analytics behind detection and prioritization; familiarity with AI security is a plusTechnical credibility to discuss architecture, feasibility, and scopeCustomer-facing confidence with security stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with AI tooling for research and deliveryCross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer SuccessBS or MS in engineering, computer science, or information securityCommunication excellenceCross-functional collaborationCustomer-facing confidenceXDR/EDR/SIEM conceptsThreat analytics and detection engineeringTelemetry and data integration
