ph3Overview /h3pSenior professional Project Manager (site-based in Zaragoza), responsible for managing customer relationships and coordinating the delivery of construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will be supported by a site-based team during the construction, fit-out, commissioning and handover phases of the project. /ppKindly provide your CV in English. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives. /liliPositively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships. /liliDelivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements and business procedures. /liliAdvising the Customer of its obligations under the national jurisdictional construction, design management or safety regulations or statutes. /liliReviewing the scope of contract and team appointments and advise on additional works required by third parties. /liliAdvising on methods of progressing construction works. /liliIf appropriate and reasonably necessary, visit sites of the extraction, fabrication and assembly or testing of materials and components to inspect such materials and workmanship before delivery to the project site. /liliPreparing and maintaining a handover plan or similar management tool, identifying the roles and responsibilities, and establishing review, approval, variation and reporting procedures. /liliCoordinating all parties and preparing substantial/practical completion documentation, submittal of manuals and handover documentation. /liliMonitoring and reporting on the development of the commissioning plan. /liliAdvising the Customer on any improvements that may increase project efficiency. /liliAdvising on discrepancies, inconsistencies or mistakes in design documents and ask for rectification. /liliMonitoring compliance with Customer’s requirements. /liliMonitoring the construction process on-site and promptly alerting the Customer to any potential delays or cost difficulties. Undertaking regular site walks to promote and observe safety, quality and progress. /liliOverseeing developments of the contractor’s detailed critical path method schedule. /liliMonitoring schedule progress and budget compliance through the contract process. /liliSupporting to evaluate and resolve change order applications. /liliEnsuring all notices are administered in accordance with the construction contract and Customer’s requirements. /liliPresenting reports to the Customer and producing site meetings as may be required to ensure that the Customer´s team is fully informed. /liliManaging service delivery for profit. /lilibAdvising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance. /b /li /ulh3As a Gleeds team member, you will have access to /h3ulliOpportunities to develop and grow your career /liliEmployee Assistance Programme /li /ulh3Who we’re looking for /h3pbExperience, Knowledge And Key Skills /b /pulli10+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects - mission-critical, energy, industrial projects. /liliClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts. /liliExcellent communication skills - both oral and written. /liliMethodical way of thinking and approach to work. /liliExcellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills. /liliSound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. /liliAbility to work as part of a team. /liliProfessional level of English.
