Experteer Overview
As a senior ServiceNow CMDB Consultant, you will own the Configuration Management Database and drive its maturity within a ServiceNow environment. You’ll evolve from a technical role into CMDB process ownership, governance, and data quality management, making CMDB a trusted enterprise asset. You work with cross-functional teams to implement a phased CMDB roadmap, aligning data models and integrations with ITIL and CSDM best practices. This remote Spain role offers high-impact projects, continuous learning, and clear career growth in a multicultural setting.

• Own and maintain the CMDB process in line with ITIL best practices
• Define and enforce CMDB policies, data governance, and CI class/relationship models
• Execute phased CMDB roadmap focusing on data completeness, accuracy, and business value
• Drive CMDB adoption across IT and business stakeholders with clear value communication
• Configure and optimize the CMDB module within ServiceNow
• Work with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to ensure automated data ingestion
• Define and track CMDB health KPIs (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, relationships)
• Establish data ownership and stewardship across infrastructure, applications, and cloud teams
• Conduct regular audits and lead data remediation with CI owners
• Act as central point of contact for CMDB topics; provide training, documentation, and guidance to stakeholders
• Identify CMDB-driven use cases such as impact analysis and change risk assessment
• Collaborate with the ServiceNow platform team on enhancements, releases, and CSDM alignment
Responsabilidades
• 3-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in development or technical configuration
• Progression from technical ServiceNow role toward CMDB governance
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
• Strong understanding of CI data modeling, relationships, and multi-source data ingestion
• Good grasp of ITIL-based Configuration Management principles and governance
• Familiarity with CMDB maturity models and structured improvement approaches
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM or CMDB-related) valued but not required
• Familiarity with CSDM is a plus
• Experience in large enterprise or consulting environments is a plus
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English (B2+) for client-facing work
