We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer – Digital ProductsBarcelona · Hybrid · International EnvironmentAre you ready to shape high‑impact digital experiences in a fast‑growing Tech Hub? At Hays, we’re partnering with an international company looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who thrives in end‑to‑end product ownership, Lean UX methodologies, and data‑driven decision‑making.What will you do?You will own and lead the full UX/UI design process for selected digital products and features — from discovery to final delivery.You will:- Apply Lean UX principles: small iterative steps, lightweight artefacts and continuous validation with users and data.- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data/AI and Business stakeholders.- Translate insights into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and success metrics.- Design user journeys, flows and interactions across web, app and internal tools to create seamless experiences.- Build wireframes, interaction models and low‑ to high‑fidelity prototypes, delivering UI aligned with the brand, design system and accessibility standards.- Use AI‑assisted tools for ideation, variants, UX writing, localisation or research synthesis — always applying critical judgement.- Design and refine AI‑ and data‑enabled features (search, recommendations, personalisation, assistants, smart tooling…).- Make decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative data.- Design not only for humans but also for synthetic users (AI agents, scripts), ensuring robust interaction contracts.- Contribute to the design system and cross‑platform consistency.- As a Senior: lead workshops, provide feedback to fellow designers, and help elevate UX practices across teams.Your Profile- Several years of experience in UX/UI design in agile, fast‑paced environments.- Degree in Design, HCI or related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience.- Strong portfolio including:- End‑to‑end product design- Complex flows and interaction/service design- Strong visual design fundamentals- Demonstrated impact on user/business outcomes- Proven Lean UX mindset and collaborative approach with Product & Engineering.- Proficiency with modern design/prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure, Framer…).- Strong analytical skills and user research capability.- Solid understanding of AI/ML in product design (trust, transparency, user control).- Practical experience using AI tools in your design workflow.- Interest or experience designing for non‑human users is a plus.- Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.- For Senior level: ownership, the ability to influence across teams, and mentoring experience.What’s in it for you?- Direct contract with the company.- Young, dynamic environment where you can contribute and co‑create the Tech Hub culture.- 10% discount on the company’s entire website.- Flexible Pay “MediaFlex Program” (Meal vouchers, private medical insurance, etc.).- Flexible working hours + hybrid model.- Intensive workday every Friday and during summer.- Option to work from two offices in Barcelona (HQ with subsidised menu under €4, or Pier01 with free weekly fruit & coffee).- Annual training budget to grow professionally and personally.- Free language classes (English, Spanish, German).- Birthday off — your day to enjoy.- Work with a cutting‑edge tech stack in a truly international team.
