ServiceNow HRSD LeadLocation: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid)Contract: Permanent, Full-timeRole Type: 70% Technical / 30% Coordination & LeadershipWe are seeking a ServiceNow HRSD Lead to join the Barcelona IT Hub of one of the world’s top 5 global retail companies.In this role, you will be the primary technical authority for our HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module. You will bridge the gap between complex HR business requirements and high-performance technical architecture, ensuring our platform evolves according to global best practices. This is a hands-on technical role designed for someone who enjoys coding and architecture but is also ready to guide a team of engineers toward excellence.Your ResponsibilitiesTechnical Ownership: Lead the implementation, adaptation, and evolution of the ServiceNow HRSD module and related applications.Architecture & Design: Act as the technical reference point, ensuring all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.Hands-on Development: Drive the development of complex features, integrations, and platform enhancements (approx. 70% of the role).Team Guidance: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, conducting code reviews and technical planning without the burden of formal people management.Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with HR business units to translate their needs into robust technical specifications.Agile Leadership: Drive progress within an Agile framework, ensuring sprint goals are met and technical debt is managed.Your ProfileServiceNow Expertise: Minimum of 3+ years specifically with HRSD, or 5+ years of overall ServiceNow development/architecture experience.Technical Background: Proven track record as a ServiceNow Developer or Architect, capable of handling complex platform configurations and scripts.Lead Mindset: Experience guiding or leading technical teams, even if in an informal capacity. You should be comfortable setting the technical bar for others.Communication: Exceptional English skills (mandatory). You can articulate technical concepts to non-technical HR stakeholders clearly. Spanish is a plus.Education & Certs: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
