Here, subtle and emotional luxury seamlessly blends with the island’s natural beauty and energy, offering a place where inspiration flows effortlessly and the essence of the island is celebrated through bespoke experiences, dynamic culinary journeys and rejuvenating wellness.About the jobBased at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase online presence, improve marketing and sales efforts of the resort and its outlets. This position works closely with different departments to develop and execute the storytelling at the resort.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement the hotel’s social media and e‑commerce strategy with KPIs under the guidance of the Director of Marketing Communications.Proactively plan creative, compelling, and targeted social media activity and campaigns.Stay informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of social media.Research and develop new ways to leverage social content to improve performance.Set KPIs for social media agencies and use relevant monitoring tools to manage all resort social channels.Conduct competitive analysis and studies on competition, providing recommendations on content changes for the resort’s social channels.Oversee and manage all social media accounts for the resort, including each F&B outlet, while leading community‑management strategies and daily engagement for every account.Prepare and implement the annual social media content strategy in accordance with brand guidelines.Plan and execute influencer campaigns, working closely with local and/or international influencers/KOLs and the Public Relations agency.Collaborate to create and execute social media campaigns that generate leads, drive quality traffic and fan/follower engagement.Prepare monthly reports on social media for distribution to department heads and the executive committee.Work closely with various departments to produce quality content for social media.Write, commission, and edit materials for a range of key hotel audiences across all social media platforms.Plan, organize, and oversee all photography and videography sessions for social media.Experience and EducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, eCommerce Management, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector (resort experience is considered a plus).Technical SkillsExcellent communication skills with an articulate and compelling style.Strong writing ability, adaptable to different audiences and platforms.Proven project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and work with flair and imagination.Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Our Commitment to YouLearning & Development – Your success is our success.
