Overview
As a Senior SAM Specialist at ServiZurich within Zurich Insurance Group, you optimize software spend and manage licensing compliance across global IT environments. You will lead best-practice SAM methods for Microsoft, Oracle, and Red Hat, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll turn data into actionable insights, drive cost transparency, and enable remediation opportunities. ResponsabilidadesProvide expert SAM guidance on complex Microsoft, Oracle, and Red Hat licensing topics across IT environmentsUnderstand and apply licensing concepts for on-premises, containers, and cloud deploymentsUtilize billing, tracking, and measurement tools (e.g., Azure AD, CMDB, My Access, Intune) to track software usageEnsure cost transparency and fair allocation of software charges to business units and service ownersNegotiate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to secure favorable termsMaintain stakeholder communities and promote information sharing within the SAM ecosystemDrive initiatives for software cost savings, compliance risk mitigation, and process improvementsLead complex software contract negotiations and coordinate with legal, sourcing, and vendorsSupport global SAM standards, controls, reporting, and performance metricsLeverage AI capabilities to reduce manual effort and identify optimization opportunitiesSupport day-to-day activities of the global SAM team
Requisitos principales5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat software portfolios in an enterprise settingProven ability to create optimized ELPs from data collection to completionStrong understanding of license restrictions, BYOL, and cloud usage in AWS/AzureHands-on experience with Microsoft system and usage billing toolingProficient in SAM tools (ideally FlexeraOne) and related data sourcesAdvanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Pivots, complex calculations)Experience applying AI solutions in SAM operationsP&L calculations and cost accruals impactFluent English (spoken and written)analytical thinkingfinancial and commercial acumenattention to detailSAM processes and best practicesMicrosoft licensing concepts (product use rights, cloud/on-prem)Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune
