Overview
In this role you will support and enhance the facility’s automation and electrical systems to improve reliability and productivity. You will work closely with process engineers, electricians, and contractors to execute projects and optimize controls, power, and electrical infrastructure. You’ll spend time on the plant floor for hands-on troubleshooting and system understanding, while leading or contributing to cross-functional initiatives. This is a growth-focused engineering position at a global company with modernizing projects and meaningful impact on operations.

ResponsabilidadesDevelop, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systemsDesign, update, and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentationSupport AC/DC motors, power distribution, and site electrical infrastructurePartner with Maintenance and Engineering on controls modernization, equipment migrations, and project executionTroubleshoot electrical, electronic, controls, and robotic systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actionsResearch and implement new technologies to modernize and improve industrial electrical, controls, and robotic systemsMaintain Arc-Flash models and ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards
Requisitos principalesProven experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing or industrial processing environmentsStrong understanding of NFPA 70 requirementsExperience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs, including programming and integrationHands-on experience with chemical processing operations in relevant industriesUnderstanding of industrial electrical systems, process controls, instrumentation, and automationProject leadership and cross-functional collaboration experienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)Fluent English communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesCross-functional collaborationProblem-solving orientationEffective communication (verbal and written)Siemens PLCsAllen-Bradley PLCsHMI systems
