Our mission is to decode and modulate neural networks to restore people’s lives.As a Sr. Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting‑edge medical devices, with a strong emphasis on advanced medical electronic systems. You will be responsible as module owner for electronics development, design, manufacturing, verification and integration.You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people’s lives worldwide.Your profileMain Responsibilities:- Development of medical device electronics that are part of an implantable system, in close collaboration with mechanical and software teams.- Translate system requirements and user needs into subsystem and interface requirements.- Perform functional analysis and create system designs that meet the requirements.- Manage external partners in the outsourced design, assembly, verification and validation of electronic systems that are part of the implantable neurostimulation system.- Support the system integration and process development.- Define test strategies to verify the electronics and system against the product requirements and applicable standards for electrical safety, EM and MRI compatibility.- Apply risk management and perform design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) on designs.- Initiate and lead design reviews, technical reviews and milestone reviews.- Lead and participate in system integration, verification and validation.- Understand and apply DFR/DFM/DFT (Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test), including concept engineering, modelling and statistical analysis.Qualifications and Soft skills- BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering.- At least 6 years of work experience in a relevant medical device development environment.- Experience in the full development cycle of a medical device including design, manufacturing, verification and validation.- Experience in the development of wireless power transfer systems and applicable regulations.- A system‑thinking attitude, identifying areas of potential improvement and developing plans to address these; team oriented, a sparring partner to colleagues in other disciplines.- Experience with electronic simulation and design methodologies and tools (e.G., Spice, Altium) and PCB design according to IPC standards.- Experience in verification test design and execution including statistical analysis.- Solid understanding of Medical Risk Analysis and FMEA.- Experience in managing development outsourced to subcontractors for design, manufacturing and integration.- Solid understanding of medical device development standards and experience in applying these standards (IEC‑60601‑1, IEC‑60601‑2) in medical device electronics design and verification.- Fluency in English is required (English is the company language).- Determination to develop yourself.- Be a team player.- Communicate effectively.- Think and act strategically.Nice to have- Experience with active medical implantable devices and the ISO 14708 standard.- Experience in neuroscience.Benefits- Collaborative environment where innovative ideas flourish and teamwork drives us forward.
