This role partners closely with country leadership, Legal, business and functional stakeholders, and regional and global Compliance teams to ensure ethical business conduct, effective risk management, and adherence to applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Spain and Italy. /li liLead the development and execution of healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and EMEA regional priorities. /li liIdentify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, professional education, and other business and operational activities. /li liProvide proactive guidance and practical advice to business leaders on healthcare compliance requirements and ethical decision‑making. /li liPartner with cross‑functional stakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes and go‑to‑market models. /li liOversee compliance programs, including training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management activities across Spain and Italy. /li liPartner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and regulatory or health authority interactions. /li liMonitor regulatory developments and industry trends in Spain and Italy to anticipate and address emerging compliance risks. /li liPrepare and present compliance risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to country, regional, and senior leadership. /li liFoster a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and speak‑up across the markets supported. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul libRequired: /b Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. /li libPreferred: /b Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics‑related). /li /ul h3Experience and Skills /h3 ul libRequired: /b 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related fields. /li liStrong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Spain and Italy (e.g., MedTech Europe, national codes). /li liDemonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams or leading complex, country‑level compliance programs. /li liProven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders. /li liStrong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority. /li libPreferred: /b Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or broader life sciences industries. /li liPrior experience supporting Spain and/or Italy compliance programs within a global organization. /li liFamiliarity with compliance monitoring, investigations, remediation, and audits. /li liExperience operating in highly matrixed, multicultural environments. /li liStrong change management and influencing capabilities. /li /ul h3Other /h3 ul libLanguage: /b Fluency in English required; Spanish and Italian strongly preferred. /li libTravel: /b Up to 20–30%, primarily within Spain and Italy, with some regional EMEA travel. /li libCertifications: /b Compliance, legal, or ethics certifications preferred but not required. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liAnnual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade/location, based on company performance. /li liVacation days, parental leave (minimum 12 weeks), bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave. /li liWell‑being reimbursement, health, financial, and mental health programs. /li liService anniversary and recognition awards. /li liParticipation in insurance plans for employees and eligible dependents. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3 pJohnson Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
