We are a private, recently created, and non-profit Foundation, linked to the Hospital Clinic Barcelona, whose mission is to strengthen people’s health and improve the quality of life of citizens. To respond to our founding goals, we have a CRO (Barcelona Clinical Coordinating Center, BCCC) for conducting clinical studies, initiated by the pharmaceutical and medical device industry or by researchers, offering a comprehensive portfolio of services to meet the needs of our customers. What We Are Looking for: We are seeking a statistician to be integrated into de Statistical Department in order to provide statistical plans and analysis to clinical studies and to specific Statistical Consulting services. Responsibilities: Statistical lead in clinical trials and non-interventional studies/projects. Drafting statistical sections of study protocols, statistical analysis plans and other technical documents required by the study Team. Statistical analysis of study data carried out using standard software (mostly SAS/R). Contribution to study Teams and Clients in the elaboration of scientific publications/presentations and regulatory documents. Requirements: Graduate degree in biostatistics, mathematics or health science-related discipline Good experience in clinical trials and/or non-interventional studies (at least 5 years) Ability to apply advanced statistical designs and analysis techniques, and good knowledge of clinical research methodology and relevant regulatory guidelines Experience across all statistical tasks required to support clinical trials during the lifecycle of the project, from protocol to Clinical Study Report. Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to effectively lead multiple projects/studies plans, organizing and executing different tasks Ability to apply advanced statistical designs and analysis techniques, and good knowledge of clinical research methodology and relevant regulatory guidelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly related to statistical concepts Proficiency in SAS and/or R programming and knowledge/use of other statistical software Fluency in English Working conditions: Full time position Offices located in Barcelona Competitive salary range – To determinate according to experience and skills Starting date: Immediate
