Structural Engineer - Concrete and Steel Structures (Wind Industry) (m/f/d)REQUISITION ID: 9377LOCATION: Madrid, ES, 28001Responsibilities- Perform structural verifications for concrete and steel structures within tower development projects.- Collaborate with internal and external experts and suppliers, acting as a technical partner to drive robust engineering solutions.- Design and evaluate new tubular steel, concrete and hybrid towers and anchor cages.- Prepare high‑quality technical documentation, including reports, calculations and project deliverables aligned with internal project management standards.- Lead root cause analyses for field issues, identify causes and fast cost‑effective solutions, and support their implementation on site.- Engage in reducing the cost of energy and increasing productivity in tower development.- Focus on lessons learned and continuous improvement of products and processes with standardization where possible.Profile- A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar.- Solid knowledge of international standards such as IEC 61400‑6, Eurocodes, Model Codes, and DIBt guidelines.- Experience with finite element analysis (Ansys, Abaqus).- Understanding of bolted flange connections, pretensioning systems, and fatigue analysis.- Advanced programming skills – Python is a strong asset.- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.- Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish are a plus.- At least 5 years of experience in similar engineering roles.- Willingness to travel occasionally.BenefitsIn addition to the opportunity to make our world a little more sustainable, we offer you:Some offers may vary by location.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementNordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
