In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to : · Supervise the production activities in the site and ensure the activities are performed in a safe and healthy way. Ensure the production team, both own employees and subcontractors, perform their activities considering safety and healthy as the highest priority. Motivate people to report unsafe/unhealthy behaviour/issues. Ensure exploitation according to the rules as set in the permits and develop a yearly workplan to be approved by the local authorities. Control the activities are performed within the predefined budget and alert the sales team on time when problems arise. · Supervise the Production activities in the Site according to the Operational Excellence principles. · Ensure activities are performed according to the production schedule. Work with the production scheduler. Align with production scheduler and if needed with production manager/operations manager when problems arise and/or the production schedule cannot be met. · Strive to the optimal balance between customer demands and specifications in relation to quality, quantity, efficiency and cost. · Motivate and evaluate the team members to enhance team collaboration and support their individual development and growth. To be successful in this role, you have: · Industry knowledge. Practical understanding of industrial mineral industry. · Product & Market Knowledge. Broad breadth and depth knowledge of Sibelco processes, products and markets · Safety. Knowledge of Sibelco's safety regulations and ensures activities are in compliance with those regulations. · People Skills.
