We are proud to have recently welcomed ESL Education and Alpadia Language Schools into the Kaplan International Group. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLiaising with the business to ensure completeness in the purchase ledger /liliProvide support for forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting /liliProviding ad‑hoc support when required by senior members of the team /liliResponsibility of Month End Closure for your entities including AR reconciliation and Deferred Revenue /liliPL analysis – OPEX, Services, Residences and Homestay /liliMonthly reporting /liliPreparing and posting Prepayments journals /liliMaintaining Fixed Asset register and posting depreciation journals /liliManagement of utility contracts including posting accruals and reviewing invoices /liliPosting general OPEX accruals /liliManagement of residence costs including reviewing invoices and posting accruals /liliCoding and posting credit card accruals /liliBalance sheet reconciliations /liliProvide support during annual internal and external audits /liliProvide support to the fiduciaries/external accounting departments /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably inclusive of accounting modules /liliMinimum 5 years previous experience in Accounts Payable/Accounting and PL analysis /liliValuable previous experience in auditing /liliPrevious experience working for large corporation in accounting position /liliPrevious ownership or involvement in month‑end processes /li /ulh3Skills and Competencies /h3ulliIntermediate Excel knowledge (V Lookups, pivot tables, formatting of data…) /liliStrong technical accounting skills /liliStrong customer service ethos and high attention to detail /liliSystematic and organised approach /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) /liliAbility to process high volumes of work, to deadlines with minimal supervision /liliQuick to pick up and apply knowledge /liliHigh level of initiative, self‑motivation and drive /liliReliable with a adaptable attitude /li /ulh3Equal Opportunities Statement /h3pAt Kaplan International, we are committed to working in a diverse organisation and strive to provide equality of opportunity for all.
