Tech Lead – Backend | Spain (Remote) | Golang, AWS, Kafka | Up to €95KWe're partnered with a fast-growing AI scale-up following an extremely successful Seed round, backed by top-tier international venture funds. The company is scaling rapidly and already seeing strong traction with enterprise customers.They are looking for a Tech Lead to take technical ownership of the backend systems powering an AI-driven automation platform. You'll remain hands-on while providing technical direction across a small, high-impact engineering team, helping shape the architecture and future scalability of the platform.What You'll Do:Own technical direction and architecture across key backend systemsDesign and scale distributed, event-driven microservices using Go, AWS and KafkaLead technical decisions, code reviews and engineering best practicesMentor engineers and support the team's technical developmentCollaborate with AI, Product and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutionsStay hands-on, contributing to complex technical challengesWhat You'll Bring:Strong backend experience with Go or PythonExperience with distributed systems, microservices and KafkaProven experience making architectural and technical decisionsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CDStrong SQL & NoSQL database knowledgePrevious experience mentoring engineers or acting as a Tech LeadSalary: €80,000-€110,000 + Share Options SchemeInterview Process: 3 stagesLocation: Spain / Europe (Remote)Tech Lead – Backend | Spain (Remote) | Golang, AWS, Kafka | Up to €95K
