Our operations are supported by our UK headquarters and a strong international distributor network /p p We are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our SWE commercial team. /p pstrongu Key Responsibilities: /u /strong /p ulli Drive sales growth and market expansion within the assigned territory across all product categories /lili Maintain a strong focus on developing the DSE Control product group /lili Identify and develop new customer opportunities while maximising new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers /lili Develop and implement effective regional sales and distribution strategies /lili Liaise with marketing to support marketing-related activities and initiatives in the region /lili Conduct regular visits to customers and prospects to grow profitable business whilst building trust in the DSE brand /lili Act as the voice of the customer within DSE, while representing the business externally as a trusted partner /lili Promote both existing and new DSE products to customers /lili Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction /lili Monitor competitor activity and stay informed on market trends to respond effectively to changing conditions /li /ul pstrong40% /strong /p ulli Achieve sales targets /lili Develop end-customer distributor relationships /lili Provides a high degree of focus on the DSE CONTROL product group /lili Effectively negotiates sales /lili Identifies, assesses, attracts and negotiates with potential customers /li /ul pstrong30% /strong /p ulli Expanding the customer and contact base /lili Develop strategic relationships within the region /lili Provide world-class customer support /lili Identify market opportunities for DSE group products /lili Maximises product margins through effective pricing strategies /li /ul pstrong20% /strong /p ulli Maintain customer pipeline data in the company CRM system /lili Manage the opportunity pipeline to maximise value for the company /lili Achieve customer visits/phone meetings to set targets /lili Create and manage quotes for customers with appropriate follow-up /lili Presentation and demonstration of products /li /ul pstrong10% /strong /p ulli Work with internal company functions to address customer issues /lili Monitor competitor activity and key market trends /lili Monthly reporting /lili Exhibition attendance was required /li /ul pstrongu Internal External Relationships: /u /strong /p ulli External relationships will be predominantly with the assigned customer group and the contacts therein /li /ul ulli Build relationships with Management, Internal sales function, technical support, marketing and Warranty /li /ul pstrongu Requirements: /u /strong /p ulli Knowledge of working within a company that has a technical product or service in a commercial role within the control electronics-related sector /lili Proven relationships with key decision makers in the control electronics sector within the assigned region /lili Proven technical and commercial selling and negotiation skills /lili Commercially astute results-oriented team player /lili Strong influencing skills /lili Strong written and verbal communication skills /lili Ability to work independently in a field-based role and from home office /lili Ability to travel internationally adequately to cover the assigned territory /lili Ability to recognise market trends and evaluate competitor strengths and weaknesses /lili Full driving licence /lili Sales role within a technically orientated company/product range, preferably within the control electronics industry /lili Proven experience of successful generation of new business and prospects /li /ul
