The team supports a broad range of functions across the organisation, including sales, product, technology, operations, finance and procurement, and plays a key role in supporting IPC’s strategic objectives across EMEA and the US.The team operates in a fast-paced, international environment and works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver timely, high-quality legal support.Role Overview:As an Associate General Counsel you will support IPC’s EMEA and US business. You will report directly into the General Deputy Counsel and you will have exposure to various internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will undertake a diverse and varied in-house role, working for a market leading financial technology company. Negotiating, drafting and advising on commercial agreements for a technology company, including customer agreements (including SaaS, license, CapEx, maintenance and managed services agreements) and vendor agreements (including in-bound license agreements)Supporting sales, procurement, product management, operations and finance teams regarding commercial agreementsProviding guidance on commercial legal issues and risk mitigation in support of the business teamsManaging a wide range of other in-house responsibilities with support from expert external counselSupporting company secretarial functionNegotiating, drafting and advising on a wide range of other agreements, including distributor agreements, intercompany agreements and leasesEssential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:5+ Years Post Qualified ExperienceEuropean or US Qualified LawyerFluency in EnglishExperience with commercial technology contractsExperience with financial technology would be beneficialBright, high-energy and committed to always acting with the highest ethical standardsProven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsCommitted to contributing to a culture of high performanceAbility to develop practical solutions to complex problems Desired Skills and Experience:Previous in-house legal experience within a technology or FinTech environmentExperience supporting international or cross-border business operationsFamiliarity with regulatory or compliance considerations relevant to financial technologyExperience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teamsAbility to prioritise effectively and manage multiple matters simultaneouslyInterest in business transformation and continuous improvementWhat’s in It for You?
