Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is looking for a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.

About The Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, the Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving high‑quality beverages, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining a pristine bar environment.
Responsibilities

Understand the outlet’s concept and beverage offerings, confidently explaining them to guests.
Craft and serve high‑quality cocktails, non‑alcoholic drinks, wines, spirits and beers, garnishing to standard and recommending drinks when appropriate.
Ensure bar mise‑en‑place is prepared for efficient service, maintain all ingredients, bottles and equipment, and check inventory daily.
Assist the Head of Bars in creating new cocktails, supporting menu promotions and keeping product knowledge up to date.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and storage areas, including deep cleaning and proper fridge management.
Handle POS operations, process orders and support cashiering tasks as needed.
Deliver personalized, friendly service, observing guest needs, creating WOW moments and ensuring satisfaction from arrival to departure in line with MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs) and MOQA standards.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, proactively support the team and report guest preferences to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

Hold a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Have 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role; previous experience in luxury hospitality preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of luxury beverage service and hospitality standards.
Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized, memorable experiences.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure smooth operations.
Professional presentation, warm demeanor and passion for service.
Familiarity with POS systems and standard bar procedures.
Awareness of health, safety and hygiene standards in all service areas.
