Within the Trade‑In team, data is a key lever to improve circularity performance, operational excellence, and business growth. The team uses data to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive high‑impact decisions across the business segments, from pricing and customer lifecycle to customer satisfaction and automation.As a Business Analyst Intern in the Trade‑In team, you will support both strategic analysis and day‑to‑day operations. You will work on extracting, modeling, and visualizing data, improving tools and dashboards, and helping the team better understand performance drivers. This is a hands‑on internship with strong exposure to business topics, operational processes, and automation initiatives, ideal for someone who wants to combine analytics with real business impact.Responsibilities- Support data extraction, analysis, modeling, and visualization for the Trade‑In team.- Maintain and improve performance and operations tools, including dashboards, trackers, reports, and alerting processes.- Monitor key business and operational KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly.- Identify performance drivers, challenge existing tools and KPIs, and recommend improvements.- Conduct ad hoc analyses to size opportunities, measure project impact, and support business decisions.- Keep circularity data documentation, key queries, and training materials up‑to‑date.- Support daily operational processes related to shipping, pricing, and risk alerts; help identify automation opportunities.- Contribute to automation initiatives, including AI‑based solutions for reporting, analysis, and task automation.Qualifications- You are pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with a specialization in data and analytics; based in Barcelona and your university can provide an internship agreement.- Strong skills in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, modeling, and visualization.- Comfortable using SQL, Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.- Strong mathematical skills and ability to build complex models.- Clear communication and ability to make technical work accessible to non‑technical audiences.- Autonomous and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Enjoy hands‑on problem solving; not afraid to dive intooperational topics.- Team spirit; people enjoy working with you.- Fluent in spoken and written English.- Bonus: experience with process automation tools such as Workato or AI agent creation.- Bonus: advanced SQL and Tableau experience in a business environment.- Bonus: experience with Google Analytics, Data Studio, or Amplitude.- Bonus: speaking additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Italian.- Willing to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.About the Internship- Starting date: July 2026.- Duration: 6 months.- Schedule: Full‑time (35 H/week).- Location: Barcelona, Spain.- Contract: Internship agreement provided by your Spanish school is required.Benefits- A mission‑driven work environment where your day‑to‑day work has an impact on the planet.- Hybrid work environment: 2 remote days a week and 1 remote week per quarter, plus 3 flex days.- Employee Resource Groups, mentorship programs, comprehensive accessibility policies, and cultural competency training.At Back Market, we’re committed to hiring and supporting diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
