Experteer Overview In this Buyer Planner role, you enable smooth material and service flow for Configure-to-Order production and field service across multiple EMEA countries. You will partner with regional suppliers, manage PO lifecycle, and optimize inventory to support demand variability and supply continuity. You’ll work in a fast-paced team to reduce risk, improve delivery performance, and align procurement with regional sourcing initiatives. - Identify and qualify suppliers in the EMEA region based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, Incoterms, and commercial terms within procurement frameworks
- Maintain positive multi-country supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews
- Track and enforce supplier performance metrics: on-time delivery, lead-time adherence, quality, responsiveness
- Proactively manage supplier risks including capacity, logistics, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors
- Support regional sourcing initiatives and initiate bid packs where applicable
- Manage PO lifecycle for direct/indirect materials using MRP recommendations and regional supply plans
- Expedite/de-expedite/push out/cancel POs in response to demand or logistics changes
- Analyze historical data, forecasts and trends to adjust ordering strategies for EMEA
- Maintain inventory within min/max targets, minimizing excess and obsolescence
- Apply inventory optimization techniques (safety stock, EOQ, JIT, ABC, MOQ, lead-time netting)
- Ensure supply continuity across longer and variable EMEA lead timesResponsabilidades
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in procurement, buying, or planning in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and end-to-end supply chain processes
- Experience managing PO lifecycle, supplier performance, inventory targets, and expediting
- Solid understanding of BOMs, lead times, and manufacturing constraints
- Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Ability to manage dynamic priorities and resolve supply issues independently
- Strong negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with EMEA suppliers or cross-border supply chains desirable
- Multilingual capability and procurement certifications (APICS, ISM, APS) a plusRequisitos principales
