ph3Purpose of the Role /h3pAs a Senior Strategic Buyer, Partfamily Manager for drawing parts turning milling, you will manage the location‑specific strategy of the part family at the Terrassa site, implementing the general material field strategy and meeting targets for quality, delivery time, costs, digitalization and automation. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliControl the entire purchasing volume for your complex part family at the Terrassa site. /liliDevelop and execute the strategy for quality, cost, delivery times and digitalization. /liliParticipate in large cross‑site procurement projects for PF assemblies and lead Terrassa‑specific procurement projects (forecast). /liliNegotiate globally valid framework and multi‑year contracts. /liliCreate, implement and track site‑wide cost reduction measures in the CAT tool. /liliAct as the responsible strategic buyer overseeing the Terrassa location. /liliEscalate issues related to delivery dates, costs or quality. /liliWithin cross‑site procurement projects, award manufacturing parts for your material field and implement inventory strategies to secure the supply chain. /liliMaintain supplier relationship management, pricing and contracts in the ERP system. /liliTravel approximately 30% of the time. /liliSupport the development of procurement processes and the overall material field strategy. /li /ulh3Qualifications Skills /h3ulliDegree in a technical or commercial field such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. /liliSeveral years of professional experience in technical purchasing. /liliExperience in negotiations and contract awards. /liliFamiliarity with procurement economic methods (Kraljic matrix, SWOT analysis, TCO, shadow calculations). /liliExperience in purchasing controlling/cost controlling. /liliTeam player who thrives in interdisciplinary and international teams, contributing, taking responsibility and solving challenges with intrinsic motivation. /liliFluent English for an international context. /liliAvailability to travel approximately 20% when required (HQ in Germany/Switzerland). /liliValid driving license and own vehicle. /liliApplication language: English. /li /ulpSyntegon and its subsidiaries promote diversity.
