Captain – Private/Charter 30m M/Y
This is a permanent position, single-season boat-based in the Balearic Islands, ideal for a hands-on candidate with strong technical knowledge who enjoys working closely with the management and maintaining high operational standards on a smaller vessel.
Start date: April 2026
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 38 days paid leave
Experience/Skills required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Captain on similar size yacht
Strong mechanical and engineering knowledge, able to troubleshoot independently
Positive, energetic, and practical approach to daily operations
Confident leader with good crew management and communication skills
Good knowledge of Mediterranean cruising grounds, especially Spain
Comfortable with budgeting, admin, and general yacht accounting
Qualifications required:
Master 200 minimum- 500GT preferred
AEC 1 & 2 preferred
STCW (fully updated)
Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
Seaman’s Discharge Book
