Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief of Staff, based in Barcelona, Spain. The Chief of Staff will partner closely with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve organizational efficiency, and ensure alignment across departments.
Responsibilities
Managing Partner Support:
Assisting the Managing Partner in priority management, risk identification, and maintaining visibility over key topics.
Working closely with the Managing Partner to structure and track strategic priorities, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
Identify problems, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution
Aid the Managing Partner to prepare for internal and external meetings
Coordinating and monitoring cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability and effective communication across teams.
Supporting coordination between the Managing Partner and senior leadership
Provide high-level oversight and administrative coordination on strategic initiatives as requested by the Managing Partner
Maintain discretion and confidentiality across sensitive matters
Managing Operations:
Ensure documents, records, and data are properly stored, updated, and retrievable
Handle HR functions including payroll, benefits coordination, and employee onboarding/ offboarding programs
Fully manage external partners including lawyers, accountants, banks, and vendors
Communicate directly with investors to close all documentation related to fund commitment and investment.
Own and manage the firm’s day-to-day administrative operations
Ideal Candidate:
Strong planning, organizational, and filing skills with exceptional attention to detail
Quick learner who can understand new topics and determine what is needed
Structured thinker with strong problem-solving ability
Naturally helpful, proactive, and comfortable jumping into new tasks
Team player who enjoys supporting others and making the organization more effective
Interest in finance and investing preferred, though not required
2–5 years of experience in administrative, operations, finance, legal, or similar roles.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
C1 English, C1 Spanish
