The British College of Gavà (BCG), an IB World School within the Inspired Education Group, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher to deliver lessons to beginner and intermediate learners across Primary, Secondary, and A Levels. This role currently requires 2 hours of teaching per week on Wednesdays, with the potential for additional hours as the Chinese language programme grows. Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for beginner and intermediate groups. Teach core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Integrate cultural elements to bring Chinese traditions and culture to life in the classroom. Prepare or adapt suitable teaching materials for a school setting. Native or near‑native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Knowledge of modern language‑teaching methodologies and engaging classroom practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and follow curriculum guidelines.
