With a growing presence across Europe, North America, and Oceania, we are a fast-scaling company on a mission to make travel more connected, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.The RoleThe City Lead plays a vital role in delivering this mission locally by ensuring high-quality rental operations, seamless service coordination, and a consistent, customer-centric experience. As the on-site leader, the City Lead drives operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer journey within their city, acting as the bridge between global standards and local execution.The City Lead has full responsibility for the daily operations and performance at the Barcelona depot. While remaining strongly hands‐on (60–70%), this role carries clear managerial and financial ownership. Leads the local team, manages depot costs, ensures efficient fleet turnaround, and drives continuous operational improvement. This role is accountable not only for execution, but for results. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you are responsible for delivering a high-performing, cost‐efficient, and customer-focused operation every day.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end performance of the city depot across Rental and ServicingLead, supervise, and develop the local operational team, including shift and task planning and performance feedbackBe a culture setter and a leader by exampleTrack daily KPIs and ensure the SOPs are being executedMonitor and improve vehicle unavailability, including stepping up to do repairs when neededOwn depot cost performance, including consumables, rework prevention while managing disciplined cost control practicesOversee the preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointmentsPractical RequirementsAble to lift or move light-to-moderate items (10–15 kg) and able to stand, walk, and move across the depot for long periodsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsFlexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods, supporting urgent operational needs3-5 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing environmentsStrong hands-on operational capability, with the ability to step into daily depot workflowsAbility to multitask, prioritise, and handle physical tasks during high-volume periodsFlexibility to work extended shifts during peak seasons, ensuring operational continuityDriving License (Category B) requiredEnglish proficiency (mandatory)The Indie Commitment!Being part of a young, fast-growing and innovative company where you make a differenceCareer development opportunities in Field Operations and transition opportunities to our Offices in Lisbon, Mexico City or ManilaContinuous training and coaching to develop the skills that matter to youCompensation package that includes Performance and Referral BonusesFree Road Trips, so you can experience Indie firsthand trips around Europe, North America and OceaniaAre you ready to Go Indie?#J-18808-Ljbffr
