**CloudOps Engineer - Spain**Copperleaf's software helps some of the world's largest energy firms make better strategic decisions, and have a track record of delivering award-winning, industry-changing solutions.As the European development team continues to expand, we're looking for a CloudOps Engineer**Location**:- This is a fully remote role within a geographically dispersed team, based in your home office- Your schedule and home location are flexible - balance your time to suit you!**Responsibilities**:As a CloudOps/DevOps Engineer you will be involved in the following tasks:- Design and architect cloud-based solutions to support Copperleaf's platform- Support flagship product development, QA, and hosting by developing installation, deployment, and automation tools- Contribute to the development of infrastructure health monitoring and reporting- Troubleshoot production infrastructure and load issues and implement solutions- Use best practices for deployment processes and support- Identify areas for development and improvement of Windows and Linux DevOps capabilities- Mentor other members of the DevOps team**Your Background**- You have at least 1-3 years' experience working in a DevOps team, and 4+ years' total relevant experience in a software development or IT environment- Building and operating highly available, complex customer facing systems at scale in a 24x7environment.**Experience with**:- Ansible and Python- Docker for Linux and for Windows- Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Continuous integration tools- Git- Infrastructure as code- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts**About You**- You have an eye for detail and can identify trends and commonalities across large numbers of incidents.- You're a great communicator and enjoy capturing process in documentation: internal documentation (accurate concise bug reports, reference material).- You're flexible - as a small but rapidly growing team in an international company, you occasionally may be required to work flexible hours to support 24/7 infrastructure.- You're a wizard at troubleshooting: able to identify root causes and find workarounds.- You can see the big picture and proactively manage long-term goals and priorities.- You're curious; passionate about learning new information.We recognize that talent comes in many forms, so we're looking for passion, enthusiasm and transferable skills.**What's it like here?**We've been building our EMEA team since 2014, and now have over 45 amazing team members across the UK, EU and Middle East.
