We are currently looking for an experienced Compositing Supervisor to join our Tenerife team. This is a key leadership position for someone ready to guide a team of artists, ensure technical and artistic excellence, and contribute to the continued development of our 2D department.Job DescriptionThe Compositing Supervisor plays a central role in overseeing the creative and technical direction of the compositing team. Working closely with the VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, and Producer, they ensure the successful delivery of high‑quality shots that meet both client expectations and 22DOGS’ artistic standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver, able to balance creative vision with production realities. They will lead a motivated team of compositors, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship while driving continuous improvement in workflows and processes.This position can begin remotely, with the intention of relocating to Tenerife once established in the role.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the compositing team throughout all project stages, ensuring quality and consistency.Collaborate with production to plan, bid, and schedule work.Assign tasks to team members according to skill level and experience.Conduct regular internal reviews and lead client‑facing review sessions.Solve complex artistic and technical compositing challenges.Maintain close collaboration with other VFX departments to ensure seamless integration of all project elements.Oversee and contribute to 2D pipeline development and long‑term departmental goals.Foster a positive, creative, and productive team environment.Required Skills and QualificationsProven experience in a senior or supervisory compositing role within film, TV, or commercials.Expert knowledge of Nuke and familiarity with other compositing software.Strong understanding of film VFX pipelines, color management (OCIO), and photography principles.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Strong problem‑solving abilities under pressure.Programming knowledge in Python or TCL is a plus.What We OfferFull medical insurance (conditions apply).Flexible start option: begin remotely, with full relocation support provided when transitioning to Tenerife.Relocation package, including:One month of free accommodation.Paid flight to Tenerife.Legal assistance for work visa, NIE, and fiscal residence.Assistance with housing, banking, and school registration, plus moreWhy Join Us?At 22DOGS, you’ll be part of an ambitious and international VFX studio where artistry and innovation meet.
