ph3CSA Lead, Madrid, Spain /h3 pMercury is an equal opportunities employer. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages. /li liManagement of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager Mercury Safety Advisor, including set up, management and closing out of file. /li liManagement of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury Project Manager and team, including set up, management and close out of file. /li liManagement of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect to Mercury Engineering and Client requirements. /li liManagement of all aspects associated with Project with the support of the project QS including:ul liLabour /li liMaterial /li liPlant and Equipment /li liVariations /li liValuations /li /ul /li liManagement of all day-to-day site operations. /li liEnsure works are installed in accordance with Project specifications and to the Project QA plan (e.g., pre-agreed benchmarking). /li liAssist the Installation Package team to manage the quality needs for the project on site, providing guidance to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes and specifications. This includes all site activities associated with validation and handover to the client, and managing the Construction Work Packs process from development, implementation and handover. /li liSchedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule, track deliveries, and manage material procurement using the Engineering Materials Report (EMR) by producing material take-offs identifying lead times and field need rates. /li liFamiliarise with Design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the Project works. Oversee the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel, ensuring spec compliance and priority scheduling. This will require generation/management of Requests for Information (RFI), technical queries, etc. /li liManage sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that a weekly minute meeting is held with each sub-contractor. /li liEnsure all sub-contractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained up-to-date and filed for future reference. /li liAttend Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Coordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings. /li liClose out all project deliverables including Final Account, OM Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, and Project Plan – all with the support of your project team. /li liIssue regular reports to the Project Manager highlighting progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns, and also highlighting any risk elements within Mercury’s control (e.g., late deliveries). /li liIssue external weekly progress reports to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third-party holds, and percentage complete. /li liIssue weekly safety statistics project labour projections. Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking. /li liPrepare sub-contract and supplier tender packages in conjunction with project QS. /li liAssess sub-contract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specifications. /li liHold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are captured and costs are issued to the client. /li liDevelop and implement company procedures with the project managers. /li liEnsure change management is handled correctly (Cost Programme). /li liReview drawings and setting‑out details. /li liProduce builders’ works drawings for services. /li liMaintain a weekly project photographic diary. /li liEnsure Mercury policies and procedures are followed closely. /li liDistribute and close out CSA snags. Manage the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable, and that all snags are distributed to all sub-contractors. /li liAll other duties associated with this role. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liOverall 10‑15+ years of experience in the construction sector. /li liBachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or another relevant degree. /li liLeadership ability (team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, advising). /li liMulti-tasking ability (prioritise, organise, schedule work). /li liExcellent organisational and planning skills. /li liAbility to work as part of a team. /li liExcellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills. /li liProficient in use of systems software related to engineering functions. /li liExcellent IT skills. /li liFamiliar with Project/Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process. /li liAbility to manage workload and prioritise. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. /li liAbility to work on own initiative. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
