You'll work alongside a talented team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implement Scalable Data Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines using cloud technologies to reliably and efficiently produce business-critical data.- Data Acquisition and Transformation: Collect, process, and clean data from diverse sources using SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.- Data Modeling and Warehousing: Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements, and design and optimize data models for efficient query performance and analytics.- Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous validation and cleaning processes. Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.- Data Tooling and Automation: Create data tools and automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to provide access to clean, reliable, and well-structured data. Mentor and share technical expertise with team members.- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.What We’re Looking For:Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.Key Skills & Attributes:- Strong Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, DBT).- Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).- Data Pipeline Development: Experience designing and building scalable and robust data pipelines to enable data-driven business decisions.- Data Modeling and Analysis: Experience with data modeling and data warehousing techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Data Quality and Governance: Experience in data quality assurance, data validation, and data security best practices.- Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
