You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality user experiences. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about structure, scalability, and craft, and who enjoys creating the foundations that enable teams to design better and faster. /p h3As a Design System Designer at North, you will… /h3 ul liLead the creation, documentation, and evolution of design systems. /li liDefine and maintain UI components, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability. /li liCollaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of the design system. /li liAudit and improve existing design systems, identifying gaps and opportunities. /li liAdvocate for design system adoption and best practices. /li liCreate and maintain libraries in Figma, ensuring they are structured, usable, and up to date. /li liBalance system thinking with product needs, enabling flexibility without compromising consistency. /li /ul h3Ideally, you’ll bring… /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in digital product design, with a strong focus on design systems. /li liProven experience creating or maintaining design systems in real-world products. /li liDeep understanding of UI design, components, tokens, and scalable systems. /li liStrong proficiency in Figma (libraries, variables, auto layout, etc.). /li liExperience collaborating with developers and understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS basics is a plus). /li liStrong attention to detail and obsession with consistency and quality. /li liClear communication skills (Spanish) and ability to document and explain system decisions. /li liA structured, systems‑thinking mindset combined with a pragmatic approach. /li /ul h3But ‘what’s in it for me’, I hear you ask? /h3 ul liIdeally, you are based in Madrid or in a location with easy and fast access to the city, as occasional in‑person collaboration may be required. /li liMacbook Pro 13" or similar. /li li22 paid vacation days plus of course Spanish public holidays. /li liYour birthday as an extra paid vacation day. /li liLegendary social events parties to let off some steam. /li /ul pNorth is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
