Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Service Team Leader__Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support. The position involves approximately 140 days of domestic and occasional international travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites.As a Field Service Technician, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service in Pulps and Paper Industries.Work model: #LI-hybridPerforming service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment, identifying technical problems, making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.)Take on-call service according to customer contracts, at least one complete week every 2 weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h total availability to go to customer on-site to solve the incidencesConsulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelinesCreating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, appreciating their needs and providing specialist assistance and solutionsCoordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviewsTroubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the futureIdentifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methodsOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.Qualifications for the RoleHigher Education (Spanish CFGS/FP II) or University studies (Electric, Electronic or Automation)More than two years of experience in jobs like: commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance, working as maintenance and/or field service technician for mechanical and electronic tasks. Previous experience in QCS systems will be valuedSound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of insert specific product and industry/sectorKnowledge of MS Office tools, any PLC programming languageAvailability to work sporadic weekends and public holidays.
