Overview
In this role you will design, develop and maintain firmware for analytical/diagnostic instruments, interfacing microcontrollers with instrument electronics. You will participate in R&D projects from requirements to validation, collaborating with hardware and other teams to ensure performance. You’ll implement, test, and document firmware while addressing incidents and contributing to architecture. ResponsabilidadesDesign, develop and maintain firmware for diagnostic instruments with microcontrollersContribute to firmware architecture and design specifications in collaboration with R&D teamsImplement and verify firmware across assigned projectsParticipate in R&D projects and provide technical solutions across development phasesPerform basic firmware testing and coordinate with hardware/testing teams for validationAnalyze firmware incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actionsCreate and maintain firmware documentation per quality standards
Requisitos principalesBachelor’s degree in a related technical field3–4 years of hands-on firmware development for microcontrollersStrong C/C++ programming skills, especially C++Experience with Renesas and/or Xilinx microcontrollersExperience with E2Studio and Vivado/Vitis or similar environmentsExperience in firmware design, implementation, and verification in R&DExperience with Git or BitbucketExperience with requirements/specifications tools (JAMA or DOORS) is valuedFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and JIRAExperience in industrial environments, robotics, automation, instrumentation or advanced electronicsAbility to work autonomously and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsStrong teamwork and communication skillsProactivity and responsibility in project managementAdvanced EnglishteamworkcommunicationproactivityC/C++ programmingRenesas microcontrollersXilinx microcontrollers
