pForward Deployed Engineer (Python, AI Systems) /ppbr/pp Spain (Madrid or Barcelona preferred) | Hybrid /pp Up to 100k + performance bonus + equity /ppbr/ppWe’re supporting one of our clients (an AI-native product company) in hiring a bForward Deployed Engineer /b to work at the intersection of engineering, AI systems, clients product and enterprise deployments. /ppbr/ppThis is not a traditional backend role. /ppbr/ppIt’s for engineers who want to build, ship, and deploy AI-powered systems directly into real client environments, fast. /ppbr/ppbThe Role /b /ppAs a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll work closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven workflows powered by LLMs and agent-based systems. /ppYou’ll take ownership from architecture to production. /ppbr/ppbThis includes: /b /pulliDesigning backend architectures in Python (FastAPI-heavy stack) /liliIntegrating AI systems (LLMs, RAG pipelines, structured outputs) /liliBuilding APIs and microservices for client-specific workflows /liliDeploying scalable, containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes) /liliDebugging production issues and improving system reliability /liliTranslating business requirements into clean technical solutions /li /ulpbr/ppYou won’t just ship code — you’ll see it live, used, and scaled. /ppbr/ppbWhat We’re Looking For /b /pulliStrong backend engineering fundamentals (Python preferred) /liliExperience building and operating production systems /liliComfort with APIs, data modeling, and microservices /liliExperience integrating third-party systems or working client-facing /liliCloud experience (AWS, GCP, or similar) /liliProduct mindset and high ownership mentality /li /ulpbr/ppBonus if you have: /pulliExperience working with LLMs or AI-powered systems /liliExperience with RAG or structured output generation /liliExposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes) /li /ulpbr/ppWho Thrives in This Role /pulliEngineers who enjoy solving messy real-world problems /liliBuilders who like autonomy and ownership /liliPeople comfortable speaking to stakeholders /liliDevelopers who prefer impact over bureaucracy /li /ulpbr/ppThis is a high-intensity, high-ownership environment. /ppNot a maintenance role.
