Apeirum partners with European engineering companies to place senior software talent. For one of our client partners — an established engineering company in Barcelona — we're hiring a Full Stack Developer to build and evolve an internal simulation & visualization platform used in complex engineering design. You'll own front-end, back-end and data, and turn rich engineering data into intuitive, high-performance visual tools. Barcelona-based, full-time.Tasks- Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of the simulation & visualization platform.- Build interactive visualizations of system performance, data, and behavior.- Work with simulation, control and systems engineers to integrate engineering models.- Improve platform scalability, maintainability and user experience.- Contribute to architecture, code reviews and continuous improvement.- Support deployment, testing and documentation of new features.RequirementsMust have:- Full-stack experience (TypeScript, Python, React, Node.Js, or similar).- Strong front-end frameworks / modern UI development.- Back-end services, APIs and data handling.- Ability to build interactive data visualizations and intuitive UIs.- Proven delivery in a structured engineering environment; strong communicator.- Based in Spain (Barcelona).- Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.- Languages: English (professional); Spanish/Catalan and German a plus.Nice to have:- Domain knowledge in simulation, control engineering or robotics.- Scientific computing / simulation tools.- Cloud deployment, containerization or CI/CD.- 2D/3D visualization libraries.Benefits- Work on a technically meaningful platform at the intersection of software and engineering.- A collaborative, cross-disciplinary engineering team.- Barcelona-based, permanent, full-time.- International environment.Interested?
