Job description This is a great opportunity to come and join a leading high street manufacturer, supplying multi product womenswear, menswear and children wear to some of the biggest players on the Spanish and EU High Street.Todas las habilidades, cualificaciones y experiencia relevantes que necesitará un candidato seleccionado se enumeran en la siguiente descripción.Our company has a strong reputation for design, fabric sourcing and product development and require a trend led multi product jersey designer to join the team as a senior designer.Ideally the candidate will have at least 5 years experience, and be someone who can identify trends and translate into commercial product. They will be responsible for researching and designing multi product across woven range, particular focus on tops and bottoms.This is a very trend led, role and the candidate must have a young, fashion forward handwriting and able to work in a fast paced environment.Designer- The RoleCompiling trend reports from Catwalks, blogs, editorial and social mediaAttending and contributing in design development meetings with Account Managers and presenting ideas, sketches and research to buying teamsCompetitive shopping trips in the EU/UK and overseas and presenting bought samples and photos back to the customersWorking closely with the Account Managers, assisting and supporting them with product developmentSketching and spec’ing final designs to hand over to the Design Room ManagerDesigner- The CandidateDesign Degree or equivalentAt least 5 years experience in a similar xcskxlj role at a retailer or supplierTrend led fast fashion Womenswear, Menswear and Children wear experience is a mustTrend led portfolio with a commercial eyeExcellent technical knowledgeStrong hand sketching abilityConfident in presenting ideas/researchKnowledge of Photoshop and IllustratorStrong Organisational skillsAbility to build strong relationships with buyers and suppliersCVs without accompanying relevant artwork will not be considered.
