In a nutshell The main objective of this position is to analyse the business requirements and define the functional architecture impacts on the information systems, keeping all connected program teams and their associated application conceptually and timewise aligned. Where you will be based and what business you will support Based in Barcelona, Spain, you will support our Eurofins Digital Online team that manages multiple eCommerce products. The team is continuously expanding and improving the applications to meet business demand and improve customer satisfaction. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Interact with stakeholders to map business requirements into functional solutions that optimally balance cost, speed of implementation and value. Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to create high‑level solution designs. Develop functional design specifications and business process maps that document project plans and production systems. Identify, analyse and communicate architecture and integration options and make recommendations to management. Design and maintain the functional domain and the necessary service contracts. Document best practices and solution blueprints. Ensure that designed solutions are successfully implemented and conceptually aligned. Support the business in validating the solution. Train team members in the latest best practices and design approaches. Maintain the overall vision of the functions and features of the applications in scope. Qualifications 8 years of experience in business or functional analyst roles or equivalent. Strong experience in Business and Functional Analysis (5 years or more). Good experience in Functional Architecture (2 years or more). Functional / Technical Skills Detail oriented. Excellent analytical, written and communication skills. Hands‑on experience in Requirements management. Strong experience in domain‑driven analysis. Knowledge of Service‑Oriented Architecture style and principles. Deep working knowledge of UML. Strong conceptual thinker able to work at a high level of abstraction. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a complex international environment. Ability to motivate and influence others. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently and drive them to completion. Language Skills and Level Expected English (fluent) required.
