We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our cruise ship team as a Galley Utility. As a Galley Utility, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the ship's galley (kitchen). Fluency in English is required, and additional language skills in either Greek or Spanish are mandatory.**Responsibilities**:- **Cleaning and Sanitization**:- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the galley area, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment.- Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment.- Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.- **Stocking and Inventory**:- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food and kitchen supplies.- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the galley team.- Rotate and organize inventory to ensure freshness and efficiency.- **Assistance to Galley Team**:- Support chefs and kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks.- Retrieve and carry supplies for the cooks and chefs.- Assist in the setup and breakdown of workstations as needed.- **Safety Compliance**:- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the galley.- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.- **Team Collaboration**:- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and other galley staff.- Follow instructions and guidance from senior galley team members.- Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.**Salary**: 700.00€ - 800.00€ per month
