About Appodeal Publishing
Appodeal Publishing is a fast‑growing division of Appodeal, focused on helping mobile game developers launch and scale games with strong market potential.
We’re not a service — we’re a strategic product partner. We provide UA, monetization, funding, analytics, and creative support, tailored to each game’s unique needs.
We work across genres (not just hyper‑casual), and we’re building a lean, high‑impact publishing team in Europe — where product quality, game feel, and creative thinking come first.
Your Role
As a Publishing Producer, you’ll act as the product owner for a portfolio of external mobile games. This is not a task manager role — it’s a hands‑on, cross‑functional leadership role focused on helping each game reach its market potential. You’ll collaborate with developers to shape gameplay, retention, monetization, and FTUE; drive test plans and iterations; and lead games from initial build through launch and scale. You’ll work closely with internal UA, Creative, and Tech teams — and play a central role in improving the game itself, not just managing timelines.
Your Responsibilities
Product & Project Ownership
Own and manage the lifecycle of each game — from pitch to post‑launch
Define testing plans, success KPIs, timelines, and priorities
Coordinate with developers and internal teams to keep projects on track
Proactively assess risks, delays, and performance issues
Game Quality & Product Thinking
Evaluate and improve gameplay loops, FTUE, UX, progression, and monetization
Identify weak points in player experience and retention
Turn high‑level problems into testable, actionable solutions
Design and prioritize features, updates, and A/B tests that impact KPIs
Act as the product voice inside the publishing team
Cross‑Team Communication & Alignment
Act as the bridge between developer and UA, Creative, Tech, and Ops
Align teams around build quality, creative strategy, and next steps
Maintain documentation: test logs, build feedback, feature roadmaps
Support creative testing (ad concepts, store assets, positioning)
Who You Are
Experienced : 3+ years in mobile F2P games (publisher, studio, or hybrid role), as a producer, product owner, or game designer.
Game design-savvy : You understand what makes a game fun and retainable. You can break down mechanics, systems, and pacing — and suggest ways to improve them.
Product-focused : You think in terms of retention, LTV, ARPU, CPI, ROAS — and how to improve them via product decisions.
Clear communicator : You can explain complexity simply and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
Analytical : You use data to inform hypotheses and prioritize work.
Hands‑on : You proactively solve problems, keep momentum, and thrive in lean setups.
Spain-based : Ideally in or near Catalonia, with the ability to join our Barcelona office 1x / week when needed.
Why Join Appodeal Publishing?
Real Product Ownership : You’re not just an managing games — you help shape what they become.
Impact : You’ll work directly on games with growth potential and real user traction.
Lean & Agile Team : Small team, big outcomes. No bureaucracy, just clarity and collaboration.
