This role sits at the intersection of Finance, RevOps, Sales Leadership, and People Operations. You will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and controlled execution of all variable compensation across the GTM organization, while ensuring financial integrity, audit readiness, and alignment with forecasting and accrual processes.This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. Variable compensation represents a significant operating expense and directly impacts financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and sales trust. You will serve as the central owner of the commission lifecycle and related financial controls.What You’ll OwnEnd-to-End Commission OperationsOwn the quarterly commission calculation process across all GTM rolesTranslate compensation plans into structured, auditable calculation logicValidate quotas, attainment, accelerators, SPIFFs, clawbacks, and adjustmentsEnsure calculations are completed on schedule with a high degree of accuracyMaintain clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and plan logicFinancial Reporting & ControlsPartner with Finance to manage quarterly commission accruals and true-upsSupport forecasting of variable compensation expenseBuild and maintain strong internal controls around compensation calculationsEnsure documentation is audit-ready and reproducibleMaintain version control of compensation plans and payout modelsCross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with RevOps on quota setting, attainment validation, and CRM data integrityWork with Sales Leadership to ensure payout clarity and plan alignmentCoordinate with People/HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll processingManage review cycles and obtain formal sign-offs prior to payroll submissionProcess & Systems OptimizationIdentify opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual riskEvaluate and improve compensation tooling as the organization scalesEnhance commission forecasting visibility and reportingWhat We’re Looking ForExperience8-10 years of experience in Sales/GTM Compensation, Finance, or RevOpsProven experience owning quarterly commission cycles end-to-endExperience in a high-growth SaaS or technology environmentExperience partnering closely with Sales, Finance and Payroll teamsExperience building scalable, well-documented processes with strong controlsSkillsAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets (expert-level modeling required)Strong understanding of SaaS GTM metrics (ARR, ACV, bookings, expansions, churn)Strong financial and analytical rigorExceptional attention to detailStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsComfort handling highly sensitive compensation dataNice to HaveExperience with compensation automation tools (CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly, etc.)Experience supporting audit-readiness or IPO-scale controlsExperience working in a global compensation environmentWhat We OfferFully RemoteWe hire globally.
