Job Summary
We are hiring a Housekeeping and Quality Manager for Generator Barcelona in the Gracia district. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction across the hotel and hostel areas.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the team and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, laundry and other assigned areas.
Monitor effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient room stock to meet business demands.
Ensure that the hotel’s housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to.
Understand guests’ needs and give team direction to fulfil them quickly and effectively.
Complete required administrative functions.
Display a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to inspire and motivate the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supportive working environment.
Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance, including COSHH.
Create and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Highly motivated and proactive, acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
Exceptional administration and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.
Excellent team player capable of keeping staff motivated during long and demanding shifts.
Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Experience
Previous experience as Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role.
Hands‑on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organisations.
Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
