Responsibilities
Identificar lotes, definir geometría y realizar mediciones no destructivas sobre madera recuperada de demolición.
Colaborar en ensayos de caracterización físico‑mecánica.
Analizar estadísticamente resultados de ensayo y modelizar numéricamente fenómenos de propagación de ondas.
Participar en la difusión y comunicación de resultados, en reuniones del proyecto, jornadas, congresos y publicaciones científicas.
Contribuir al seguimiento y gestión del proyecto, incluida la preparación de informes y la interacción con los socios del consorcio y partes interesadas.
Identify batches, define geometry, and conduct non‑destructive measurements on recovered timber from demolition.
Collaborate in the physical and mechanical characterization tests.
Statistically analyze test results and perform numerical modeling of wave propagation phenomena.
Contribute to the dissemination and communication of results through project meetings, workshops, conferences, and scientific publications.
Support project monitoring and management, including the preparation of reports and interaction with consortium partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Arquitecta/o o Ingeniera/o. Conocimiento y experiencia demostrada en diseño y construcción con madera, estructuras existentes y rehabilitación.
Excelentes habilidades lingüísticas en español y inglés.
Capacidad para generar y publicar resultados de investigación. Disposición favorable para viajar.
Specific expertise in nondestructive testing of timber (acoustic methods and photogrammetry/laser scanning) and planimetric surveying.
Professional experience in rehabilitation projects and the assessment of existing structures.
Participation in sectoral expert groups related to existing timber heritage, as well as academic (teaching) and scientific (organization or peer review) activities within this field.
