Offer Description
IdiPAZ is recruiting a clinical trial nurse for a research project under the professional category of University Graduate to join the research group led by Dr Victor Jiménez Yuste.
IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is the result of a partnership between the Hospital Universitario La Paz, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Advisory Council of the Community of Madrid and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of Hospital Universitario La Paz. The Institute collaborates on multidisciplinary research projects and promotes scientific fundraising.

Requirements
Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
Other: Research Field Other; Years of Research Experience 1‑4.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and prepare tests to be carried out on patients at each clinical trial visit.
At each patient visit: take vital signs, perform electrocardiograms, collect blood and urine samples, and administer medication.
Prepare patient sample kits.
Collect, process and dispatch samples generated at each visit; request dispatch and collection of biological samples.
Monitor the collection, dispensing and accounting of medication returned by clinical trial patients.
Enter data from each visit into the CRFs and resolve any discrepancies.
Liaise with the sponsor’s/CRO’s representatives regarding the various clinical trials.
Pre‑screen, initiate and close visits for studies.
Attend investigator meetings.
Attend clinical trial sessions.
Administer and collect quality questionnaires at each visit.
Prepare information sheets on procedures for each study and medication administration methodology.
Telephone follow‑up of trial patients.
Specific Requirements
Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Languages: Upper‑intermediate level of English.
Experience in clinical trials would be an advantage.
Additional Information
Permanent contract for scientific and technical activities.
Professional category of UNIVERSITY DEGREE HOLDER Group III, Area 2, in accordance with the collective agreement.
Full‑time working week of 37.5 hours.
Gross annual salary: € 28,898.
Personal leave: 6 working days per year.
Annual leave: 22 working days per year.
24 and 31 December are non‑working days.
